Good crabs and all seafood. Oyster are awesome

We liked the shrimp tacos and crab balls but didn't care for the shrimp and crab salad. The conditions were not all that clean either but it was hot which didn't help the mood.

The food was great i truly enjoyed it. I will go there again.

This place has everything. Great seafood. Beautiful view. Nice atmosphere.

Fun place and yummy food. Time to ditch the masks for outdoor seating area.

I liked the venue. It was really cool. Imagine that but Halloween themed! Service was a bit slow. Waited 20 minutes for a drink. My order was messed up twice I believe. I ordered chicken tenders , they were really good. The virgin daiquiri was delicious. Although my order wait was a good 25-45 minutes, I had a good time.

Been coming at this restaurant ever since I move in VA. My parents always take me here for crabs. It’s a good place to eat and drink with your friends and family. They also have their own dock to park boats. Service is good but the only thing I notice is every time I come back at this restaurant it feels like they need a major deep cleaning inside and outside the restaurant. But other than that the food and ambiance is great.

Our appetizer wasn't ready for over an hour after we finished our meals. Tried to go to the bathroom, and a kid that works there said only one at time. I was fine with that. He told me when it was clear. I go in and another employee said "you can be in here while I'm in here". I told him the other employee told me to come in. He started to tell me again one person at a time, but I just cut him off and told him I'd just go in the parking lot. So great time if you don't want your food and don't need to use the bathroom. You'd think they just have problems from opening after COVID, but their kitchen has always been a disaster about getting food out in any kind of order if at all. 2 stars is only because of being able to hang by the water.

Love this place!! Delicious seafood, phenomenal drinks, and a beautiful view. It’s truly a hidden gem and plan on going more often. And shout out to our waitress Bobbi... she’s a sweetheart and so helpful!!! A must visit!

The service was wonderful. They did a great job on table spacing, and the food was incredible. I'm glad to see them doing so well.

They will do pretty much anything for customer satisfaction, everyone makes mistakes but the food is great and the drinks are better! Highly recommend on a sunny day!

Great place to visit with the family and enjoy a nice crab dinner while sitting on the patio overlooking the water and boats. Our waiter for tonight was Will, and he was very nice and courteous. The menu was delicious and well priced. The only negative I can think of is that the bathroom could be a bit more cleaner. But overall a good place and great value for your money.

Always super packed! But other than that the crabs were cooked perfectly. Great food, great servers, great view.

Food and service are great! Wonderful little place.

Hard to find but the oysters were good. Limited selection of drinks. The waitress was friendly and service was quick. The place looks like an old seafood shack and there was quite a bit of outdoor seating.

Went after years of absence. Great experience!! COVID compliant, excellent staff, great food and a reasonable wait for this pristine location. Take your family, friends, and loves and enjoy the great atmosphere, drinks, food and river life.

I've gone here a lot. It's a nice local place to take out of town guests for some great seafood. The view is lovely. Sometimes, the food is OK...it can be hit or miss. But, because it's a local hidden gem, I really like that they're here in our area. I do recommend you give them a try.

Considering the current virus situation, it was nice to sit outside in sunny weather. The food is good as always... top notch.

Waited almost two hours for a water side table, just to get seated next to the stairs by the trash. All of our food came out except for one individuals, and we didn’t get her food until we were asking for the check. Terrible service and terrible management.

They said they had take out but they don’t. Asked in advanced because we were coming on the boat. Once we got here they said the only way was to get a table outside. So I asked for a reservation, after an hour and a half we walked to the restaurant and they had never put our name on the list. Very unorganized.

Food was great, staff is friendly and efficient and I’ve been back twice.

Get there early. Brings some friends. Make sure there is a designated driver. Order the all you can eat crabs and enjoy. Be sure to drink responsibly.

The hostess and food was awful! However, our server Will was phenomenal!

Literally have to call the place while standing at the host station to place a order to get nothing but busy signals. Lol I'll take my money elsewhere, tha js for the experience though

Great spot for cold beer, live music, and steamed shrimp. Nice breeze and shad to make for an enjoyable outing.

Totally rockin' place to get good seafood, especially steamed crabs. Waitresses are sweet and happy. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Definitely a *hidden gem* this land-lubber highly recommends!

Staff was lost but made up for it with free beer. Food was good. Pretty limited selection due to covid. View outside was good.

This place has really gone downhill in the past year. We went in October, was looking forward to a table close to the water. Every set of table and chairs was absolutely filthy, looked like it hadn't been washed in years. We ordered the broiled seafood platter and fried seafood platter. Broiled seafood tasted like someone poured a ton of old bay and salt on it and threw it on a plate. The fried seafood platter was greasy and overcooked. The server was attentive and friendly as always. I have enjoyed going to Tim's for years, but the quality is definitely what it used to be. Dissapointed that I will not be going back...

The day was super hot but a nice breeze helped. The service was great. Had a little set back with the crabs but gave the kitchen a second chance and it turned out excellent.

Went here today with a decent size party. We were going to be out on the boat but always have people at a table. Trying to support a local business and dropping at the least 1000.00 for a few hours. They did not want our business. We were told they didnt want us taking up their parking and we only had 2 cars. Terrible management.

Great food, great atmosphere! Make sure you try their Killer Driller cocktail.

This is the first time there for my good friend her birthday dinner where she wishes to go. I'm from Arlington, VA in the downtown area for 27 years. A hostess helped us. A waiter did keep us up as well. I place an order for the Crabmeat cake platter dinner. Butter finger drink, yummy! I'm glad to get out of here to have a good time since 7 months ago my last time at the restaurant. One day, I will be back here again with friends as well.

It was just chaos. I understand with COVID-19 and what not but it was just ridiculous. We sat at the hostess for ten minutes, got seated at a sticky table, sat for twenty minutes before any one realized we were there. The waiters were flying in and out of the doors trying to keep up with everything. It was just crazy. We ordered and the food was soggy and cold. We were there for two hours and spent 75 dollars on two appetizers and one meal. Don't know how that happened. But it was just terrible. By the time we got the check, we just wanted out of there.

Tim's Rivershore is an awesome way to hang out by the water. You will be treated kindly by not only the staff, but the friendly people that visit the establishment too.

It’s a nice place but a bit hard to get to due to the gravel road. Something rarely found in this busy area, it’s a bit of a waterside oasis and a break from the busy metro area. Service was great and no one had any problems with food. Their drink menu is fun and creative. Outdoor seating is great in fair weather but a decent amount of seating is available inside.

The food was delicious and service was great! Masks were worn when walking around, but not needed at your own table. The view is lovely, and it was a beautiful day by the water!

Great food, great price, great views. A little tricky finding it the place and the road is a little rough. Worth the drive.

We came with with wife and kids and it’s perfect, nice service with our waitress Laney (very professional) and food taste good, beside to be at the shores!!! Recommend

I tried Tim's last night. I have had much better seafood at a much better price. My food was not fresh enough for what I paid for it. Maybe I didn't order the right stuff but I don't think that should matter. This place is also in need of a SERIOUS cleaning.Update: I got food poisoning.

Worst service ever!!!! After got sited and served the menu, we got basically no choose just to stand up and go. We asked them to prepare food to go and the answered was - please call that number and order. After calling to the Tim’s number - sorry you cannot order to go and we will close the kitchen right now!!!! What is going on Tims!????Last year I was at Tim’s every weekend, from today never again!!!!

On a rainy day it was a perfect date. They had all you can get crabs. The staff works hard and the food is always delicious.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. What I love about this place is it's right on the water. Very chill and laid back.

Come by land. Come by sea (river - the Potomac). An out of the way, but popular waterfront shack featuring great food, great views and great atmosphere
